Corrado 2.0 16v???

What's a J plate model worth roughly on 100000 miles. full electric pack. le castellet alloy wheels. in a dark blue colour. MOT, tax.

Needs a new windscreen as the one is cracked.

Good bodywork, full scorpion stainless exhaust.

What are tehy like performance/handling wise??

 

Very slow.... over 10 seconds to 60 I think! The 1.8 is quicker.

 

better to wait for a G60 Rado or VR6 then?

I'm sure I've read the 2.0 16V can be rolling road tuned and reach the same power as a VR?? Or is that the Golf ABF engine?

Confused!

Want something more modern, more creature comforts, and preferably quicker but still with a good return on fuel compared to my MK1

 

you sure its a 2.0 on a j?

 

I'd personally wait for at least the G60.....the corrado shell is even heavier than the mk3 Golf, anything less than the G60 is gonna be sluggish.
