What are peoples EXPERIENCED oppinions on this car? A corrado with this spec Jabba stage 4 charger Chip + 68mm pulley Induction kit Magnecor leads Magnex SS exhaust from cat back with 4 oval tailpipe Koni coil over suspension What sort of figures would the engine be putting out? Enough to beat a VR? Sort of thinking about selling the Golf for a Corrado, fallen in love with them!
i had a 68mm and chip on my golf(bigger ic) and it walked all over a golf vr6 realisticly i spose 180 hp,although jabba will quote nearer 200
Totally different as the Raddo will have loads of low down torque where as the VR needs to have its neck rung to make it really go. Probably getting near to 200bhp. I would definettly buy another G60.
OK, sounds god so far... Could a G60 lump stand up to being used 250 miles a week and being driven fairly hard everyday.... wud obviously be maintained, but i heard they are abit fragile...well, when compared to a VR
http://www.dubforce.net/forums/index.php? http://the-corrado.net/forum/index.php http://forums.vwvortex.com/zeroforum?id=36 http://www.corrado-club.ca/ubb/ultimatebb.php get the charger rebuilt at g werks/pitstop and replace the chip with a sns use regular common sense and will be fine...never rev over 3k when the oil is cold, dont hit the rev limiter too often, use a good cotton air filter not foam, and change the oil every 4k or so
ive had two g60 powered cars 1 rallye with chip, cam supersprint and s4 charger with ind kit.absolutely nothing in it with a stock vr 2 mk1 g60 with cam ind kit stage four charger sns chip and fpr tubular four branch and system.a 180bhp mk4 anni and a 225 tt couldnt get anywhere near it .trouble is it blew up twice in a month i prefer the vr6.they have been much more reliable imo and dont feel like driving a hand grenade with the pin taken out
Hi, I have a Golf G60 with a 68mm pulley, and SNS chip, otherwise standard. Only had it 6 months, have a lot of fun with VR's.... Definitely faster than a standard VR. And if you want more power you can always get a 65mm pulley with red injectors, and SNS chip. Hope this helps.
