or just too damn heavy [xx(]

had my first do with another motor in the rado,up against an impereza.

1st,2nd i was pulling away, then going through the rest of the box he started catching and pulling away. [8(]

    the g60 is superchipped,70mm charger pulley,stage 2 jabba charger,decat pipe,boost return mod,maybe around 180/190 bhp? [:s]

    im not used to this,the mk1 would a kicked its a$$ [:x]

discuss or try make me feel better [:D]

You've upgraded to a more comforting car, the raddo is only really about comfort not pace, as the only one with that is the VR6, the G60 is powerful enough to haul its luxury ass up the roads but as for sprinting i just wouldn't like it, besides the early golfs are more of a empty shell and designed for the driving experience as a pose to the comfort drive a raddo is for.

    :)

Or flog it and buy a VR one. I "borrowed" MarkD's one for a weekend, and Christ - any excuse, I was away. Only 19 ciggies left in the packet? Fuck, I'll go and get some more.......

    Damn right.

Or - Get down to G-Werks with a bundle of cash!

Just to add though, I think Jabba are excellent - but I have a G-Werks charger ;)

    Superchips are garbage.
Shoulda had a stage four or R1.
Boost return mod does cack all performance wise, just makes it sound like theres a dump valve fitted.
A decat might release up to an extra 10bhp.
I had a spat with an Imprezza last night in my standard 8vGTI and kept up. :) (until his turbo kicked in then I felt humbled   )

Your MK1 regulary beats subaru impreza's then I take it? Bloody hell, what 4 wheel drive system have you got, you got the S3 engine in it? or just a 'normal' 20vt?

Corrados are heavy cars...to even compete with an Impreza is good going ;)

I have to agree that G60 'Rados are garbage as standard, but go for a chip/pulley & uprated charger & they come to life..

I know that rradogolfmans tweaked G60 is every bit as fast as his friends VR6 Rado.. ;)
