Evening all, Got a question, will late VR6 indicator stalks fit my 1989 16v? I'm pretty sure I have seen it done, but I cant remember where... Any ideas?
Yep, they should do. Do they have the small square hazard switch? I can't remember (if its the large Mk3 sort of one then you'll have to trim the plastic to suit). Other than that bolt straight on and plug straight in
Cool, Looks like quite a longer hazard button. I'll probably have to trim it. Will keep an eye on the ebay! I think they look nice!
I did have a set but used them recently on a customers Mk2! Another idea is to use the Mk3 GTi (MFA) or VR6 ones which will still require trimming unless you get the VR rado plastics, or even ones from a Seat Ibiza Cupra as they have the smaller hazard switch IIRC.
straight swap and plastics were 15 from VW for both parts but have been obsolete as of earlier this year
