I've seen storms on Trader at anything from 5.5k up to 8+. In fact there is a rado on their at the mo with 43k on the clock going for 8250, and I don't even think its a Storm. Personally I think he's having a giraffe asking that for it and 6k would probably be nearer the mark for your car. Plus you might be able to get a bit more that that seeing as Top Gear tipped The Corrado VR6 as a future classic
I have been offered 8.5K for it as it is in mint condition and i do show it. I got an agreed valuation of 9K on it but i'm not sure to sell even at the price offered--its going to be a wrench to let it go! [:^(]
hmmm highest price you can... that way it makes the rest of our Corrado's worth more! (sorry no corrado owners)
pricing up storm's is v. difficult, because on a bad day they can go for as little as 4k (gotta be a really $hite day for that to happen ) but people will pay up to 9k even 10k if it ticks all the right boxes, i.e. 'working' heated leather, a/c, mint BBS solitudes and IMO mystic blue, as classic green is a bit of an old man's colour in my opinion..... i'll get me goat while i wait for all classic green storm owners to pounce
I would take the 8.5k if you need the money. You'll have to hold onto it for a few more years yet before it really is considered a classic.
Got talking to one of the woman at work and she starts telling me about this Corrado storm her son just sold to buy a MK4. Reckons he got 10K for it?????????? full spec with leather/green etc etc. Dont know if she was shiitting me or not???
