Thought I'd post a few piccies of my Corrado, seeing as though I haven't posted too much in the new forum yet.

    Late 1992 Aqua BLue VR6.
    42k miles.
    Lupo GTI wipers.
    De-badged grill.
    Uprated headlight loom.
    Modded air-box.
    Standard apart from that. :)

Yeah, I know it looks like a tractor and needs lowering! :p

 nice! colour is sweet, but what happened to the rear lights, looks "bubbly?" like some kind of film on top of it? will look even better when lowered :)

looks very nice, the blue really glows in the sun. :)

that Lupo wiper trick works well! (must be a corrado forum/list thing, you dont hear it on here) I converted my mates Corrado the other day and I'm seriously tempted to do my best golf as well, it's that good!

Whoa!!! sweet car dude :p but as has been said above - loose the film on the rear lights as it does the car no favours.

I quite like the rear lights...

You can get rid of those bubbles with a scalpel...if you spray the
surface with a mist of water before you stick film down you dont
    get any

    Cheers everyone :)

Film on rear lights: Yep I should have sanded down the raised Hella markings beforehand. Hind-sight eh!

Blue repeaters: Yep I know they're crap - I've got some clear ones on the way. Blue ones will go in the bin.

Lupo wipers: Corrado wipers are notoriously crap! You buy some Lupo GTI arms and blades and replace the old ones. The Lupo blades are naturally curved and hug the screen.

Next on the list is either a leather interior (if I can find one!) or some coilovers. Probably the coilovers tbh.

    Thanks again for the comments.

ps I've noticed there is a duplicate pic, so I'll get rid of that and add another.

That is very nice. Hmmm i keep seeing Rado's around my way lately may be they are trying to tell me something. Car looks very clean.

I wouldn't mind a Rado but everyone i know thats had one said they are always going wrong? [:s] So they got rid of them. [:^(] Mind you half of them don't know d**k about cars.

So how bad is Rado on the old motion lotion (Petrol!) mates VR6 Golf aint that bad really. Although he does drive like miss daisy around town.

The rado is pretty similar to a MK2 so should be about as reliable, what engines were they running?
