    Hi,

As per the title I am after a photoshopped pic of std Mk1 GTI in Mars Red with 'A' pillar wind deflectors and a single lamp grille, but with a gloss Black roof as I am toying with the idea of having the roof colour changed when I get mine re-sprayed to set it apart a little (it's already at the bodyshop).....if you could also drop it by 50-60mm and change wheel colour to black as well that would be even better ;)

Would anybody be able to help pretty please? ......unfortunately I am having some broadband issues so can't host a suitable starting pic on Photobucket, I have found one here though http://www.wagenwheels.co.uk/car_images/stock109a.jpg

    Many thanks,

    Tim

Cheers mate, that is perfect....I have got a carbon roof as it happens but that will be going on another shell I've got...along with the fibreglass doors, wings, bonnet, tailgate and Berg cup arches

So what is your opinion on the black roof? I think it don't look to bad and sets it apart from the other red Mk1s floating about ;)

Ta mate....but I think I'll stick with the black roof variant...not sure the BBS would be right for a track car ;)

    C'mon, let's have a few pointers!

    1) Magnetic lasso tool or a magic wand (obvious!)
    2) Colour changes. I've had zero success on this.

    Hehe..
    Photoshop 5 is a must...
    1) uses polygon lasso, Capture the body work only. + and - the areas to get all the body.
    2) copy to new layer.
3)Then click on new Layer, Then top tab Image, Tab down to Adjusments, Then Tab down to Variations.

From there you can make most colours. Just a starting block though.. There are many other ways by just double clicking on the layer to bring up other effects... I might do a step by step how to for this site on colour and lowering!?! Plus effects if needed..[:s]

Is Photoshop Elements useless for this?
