    i aint decided yet.
    the mk1 golf looks much nicer than it but after sitting in one i dont know anymore!
    nice inside but aint sure about the outside yet

    I quite like the front end. But once again, like the Mk4, it's rear lets it down. OK, I know they are trying to keep some continuity throughout the models, but really..... The backend doesn't suit the car. Ditch it. It's not like VW of today stands for anything it did 15-20 years ago.

    Agree. It looks good for a mk5, but it's still a fairly anonymous euro hatch with decked suspension and big alloys.
    It totally lacks the individuality and overall look and presence of the mk1 and mk2 GTI's.

    I like it. way better than mk4 Golfs in my opinion.

    Some mk4s look nice but only ones that have had quite a lot done to them.

    frton end is lush

    back end is cack...

    still prefer my mk2!
