Crank sensor wire - what do I need?

    i thought you had said you checked this chris long time ago, as I know we discussed this as I told you my jetta did this a couple of times

    glad its sorted now.. (and wont be allowed to flap/flex and do it all over again at some point)

    I remember! I had spare terminals to hand on that day at Combe!

    I'll have to read back through previous threads - I can't recall when I have ever rewired that plug - but for some reason this was written off as the problem source this time [:s]

    Main thing now is to check it's wired right with the shielding:

    Established as long as it's earthed at one end, that then draws away any interference from getting to the inner cables.
