Hi there iv been looking for some info on how to fit cruise controle to my mk5 golf gti ed30,
Its an 07 plate with the computer for mpg etc, iv seen kits on ebay but they say it needs to hav vw to set the ecu to recognise the changes, has anyone fitted this kit before?
Any help would be great thanks

    I've fitted loads TBH

how much cheaper on ebeg are they than dealers? parts/kit retail about 55 mark

sometimes really simple others seem to have a wire missing from the loom that needs taking to the engine ECU
The engine ECU does need adapting to know that the cruise control is there and the steering electrics also needs to know that the extra buttons are there

it can also can be adapted via VAG Com, which theres a few users on here that have a lead to the latest spec.

The price is from about 30 to 80, which edition of vag com is it? is there much to fittin the kit? Does the fitting kit from vw include the wire that goes to the ecu?
    Thanks for the help
