I've just bought cubase sx3 but have no midi instruments (as yet). How can I program some simple drum beats using the drum editor?I can't seem to create a new audio part from scratch (if I open an empty project for eg), but I can edit an existing audio part (loaded from a tutorial). Also, when using the supplied drum maps, very few of the drum sounds actually work - any ideas?
When i first started with cubase aroud 7 years ago, best i could do was get a click track........... ended up chucking it in the bin!
