CV joint assembly, spring washer orientation

    Hi all.

    Never did this before so I’m asking the question to be safe rather than sorry lol.

    What orientation do the spring washers sit on the gearbox end of the shaft?
    I bought skf cv joints and the inner joints have two spring washers, a plain and one with teeth to match the splines of the shaft.
    Etka only shows one spring washer fitted, as below. 9 in the diagram.

    Actually is etka wrong, I found this pic showing the washer the other way around.
    This makes more sense in my mind.

    yep, from elsa:
    Dished spring
    - Installation position: larger Ø (concave side) contacts constant velocity joint.

    Thanks, figured that was correct alright. Got them all built up.
