    It would be useful to get some bike engine performance figs to see how they compare.

    Whats the bore on a VW 1.4L 16v polo Engine ?

    must be arround 75mm

    There's a bit of crossover here with the 9A vs ABF thread, so the next question appears to be what rod length the bikes run.

    Rod length isn't relevant as only the head would be used on a VW Block with TB's and external Injectors :thumbup:

    High reving engine with external injectors for max atomisation.

    would be nice somemore 9A & ABF Engine pix with external injector set up

    Oh yes, I realise they're just able to use the heads.

    I think I'm inadvertently wandering into "how'd they do that" territory re: the rpms. Off topic!

    Top secret ( I've looking for a MK2 Polo Coupe for my next Project got tig welder already) [:D]

    I'm guessing the heads have huge flow, but then started thinking onto the bottom ends vs the car blocks. Just thinking in terms of a getting a better understanding.

    (I personally hate the bike engined single seaters that are seen on sprints and hillclimbs btw. They sound stupid !)
