    What dashboards fit Mk2 golfs

    We all know about TT and Mk3 conversions
    Any more out there?
    Anyone done or seen a BMW 3 series dash conversion in a MK2

    my mate, cut down an e30 dash for his mk1 cabrio but couldnt be arsed with the wiring. Apparantly it was a b*tch and he is very good with wiring normally.

    But as they say, anything will fit if you have the patience and time(and money in some cases!)

    To be honest if you are clever enough, you can pretty much fit any dash.

    Some others I've seen are corrado, mk4 polo, bora, MK4 golf and even an Audi A3 dash.

    Now I've got an A3 and a MK2, and the person who fitted the audi dash in a mk2 is one clever bugger!!

    I've fitted MK2 dashes in MK1's before, so I know how much is involved, ad thats was a reletively easy swap.

    Hows your fabrication and wiring skills?

    Well not bad but I am not entirely sure what the main problems with the wiring would be.

    I can see that heating ducts would be an arse but my fibreglassing is OK. Main concern is speedo ratios and changes in connections to rev and speedo.
