happened on thurday 21st 9.30 pm met a polo on my side of the road both going about 45mph (60mph road)she came around a left hand corner behind anoher car and drifted into my side of the road ,no time to brake or swerve

me and the wife been in hospital most of the week she has very bad brusing and 4 broken ribs me i had broken collar bone ,ribs, and a right foot like James caan from that flim "Misery" Had it pin wih 3 pins on Monday now in plaster for 6 week before pins are removed then more plaster then lots of physo can't see me working until the new year gutting end of my show season and won't be able to drive my corrado for months

But this is the bit that's hard to take, she can,t remember what happened police calling it " a momentary lapse of concentration "and won't be pressing charges

so a momentary lapse of concentration equals driving on the wrong side of the road and nearly killing us is ok by them but drifting 5 or so miles over the speed limit on a clear day with no injured bang 3 points and a fine somethings wrong somewhere

You're lucky to be still alive! It's a bummer about the silly bint, but it could be a lot worse.

At the end of the day, you are still here with the wife. :)

Why cant women concentrate when driving? They always seem to be doing something else. I suppose she just batted her eye lids for the copper [:x]

Thats sooooo unlucky! Like madmonkey said, you've been lucky in that incident! Can't you sue that b*tch for claims for putting you out of work-compensation?

I'd try and take her to the cleaners, she needs sorting out! She's so in the wrong, but if you can remember what happened, then surely thats enough!!

Funny.. Police seem to pull the 'driving with undue care and attention' when they can be bothered

Dont get too fed up rushing around on that Zimmer. No news on any prosecution I s'pose?

Those seats are cursed I tell you. I didnt peice it together untill just now, I got them from a kid who'd been hit a by car and wrecked, he got them a few weeks earlier from yet another medium frontal in a breakers from what he told me. They did me proud for a good few years with just the odd low speed bounce...

my insurance settled the car 550 not bad only paid 510 for it 18 mts ago and had 20,000 miles with out any problems

their will be no prosecution the police are calling it " a momentary lapse of concentration "and won't be pressing charges

will be in for a few pound's compensation but that will take while yet as i'll be off work until xmas and it won't be sorted until they see how my foot is after that prob never be 100%

    i can see a r32 comming on ;)
