VW have dropped the `F` from the Scirocco/Mk6 onwards, so what should be a `TFSI` (it`s a different engine to that in the Mk5, but it`s just an updated version so should retain the title), they`ve decided to call `TSI`, despite the fact this was the designation of the 1.4 twin-charged engine in the GT...[8-}]

Hmmm - was going to say that could be the press car we (the Corrado Club) took to germany but we did nearly 1500 miles in to the Ring and back... reason being the one we've been given for the Classic car show this weekend is white when we were expecting to get the rising blue one back again...

    It's a cat D I guess because it's an economic re-shell but I wouldn't buy that for 7,800 in today's climate!

Yeah - agreed the TSI badge is very misleading especially as they have built a 2.0 twin-charged and this is only a Turbo

The engine is great tho - massive torque band, would love to see that in a MK2 or Corrado!

CAT D indeed, until you phone up Autoglass and want to glass for it... righto..... Take you 6 months to get it all together again... ! Nah mate, can't get that little plastic widget, has to come direct from VW and it's on back order until your 85! - tried GSF mate ? lol

I'd leave it like that, doesn't look like a wannabe Brera anymore, vast improvement IMO.

Hopefully the damaged was sustained by crashing into a car park full of new Sciroccos.
