I notice that the owner of Pic no 7 is a reader of Digital Photo magazine

Thanks for all the votes people :clap:

I have taken into account what has been said in regards to the brief and so, next competition will step up a level to make the challenge as fair as possible! I am going to add a twist/ new turn to this, if I may. I will nominate a brief with a catch! I want to ask, antinkariba & Delyth to also add their brief to my brief?? Please dont get confused about this, I will make this clear to you all later. It's very simple, but will be challenging!

Again, many thanks to all who entered and took their time to vote.

I will message you later, Ant and make it all clear what I have in mind so you can go over it with the necessary people/mods to approve it.

Congratulations matey, it is a truly beautiful photo...

For what it's worth, I disagree. That photo is the type of thing you would expect to see on a Christmas card fella! Top draw art work!

    Thanks chaps

O.K. Here's what I am recommending for the next competition.
I will choose the topic "Sunset/Sunrise"

I want to invite 1st and 2nd place of Decembers contest to add their brief to this, Delyth & Ant respectively.
For example.. You could add as the brief, a train, plane auto mobile, bridge, church, lake, river, reservoir, cathedral. they're just an example of what came into my head first, so whatever takes your fancy,

Basically, there are THREE briefs to this! (If you want?)

I read with interest what Orange said in his topic in regards to judging and so came up with this idea!!

I do not want to complicate matters nor do I want to deter people from entering this competition, remember... it's just for fun and shouldn't be taken too seriously!

Like I have said in previous posts today, I wanted to add a twist that would be beneficial to all you budding photographers who enter and like a challenge.

If this is too much then please say so, I wont be offended in the slightest and will just revert to the old ways.

Dooby, I think we are defiantly going to end up confusing the matter here. Because as it stands I'm already confused. The competition has worked well from the offset and its always been the winners privilege to pick the next topic. I think we can all go for sunset/sunrise, but I think it best to keep it coming from one place i.e You pick it.

Lets go with Sunset/Sunrise and keep it at that?

    That's fair enough Ant

Do I need to state what should be in the picture or should I just keep it random?

I think sunset/sunrise is a lot more to the point than the last 2 have been and we'll get some great pictures from it.

I have to say that a lot of this is probably my faulty as i wanted to do something christmasy for the december comp but didn't want the same old shots of santa etc etc, I also wanted to give scope for those that wanted to try something different and staged, or the spur of the moment thing. But in all I think it was to vague.

O and well done Dooby cracking picture.

You obviously weren't running it properly, Wes, as me, BristolFish and now Ant have always managed to upset some people whilst running it!
