I'm 26 lol and whenever I've needed to do something DIY I've just borrowed my old man's tools.

It's about time I built up my own collection. Where's a decent place to buy tools?

My local builders merchants 'Travis Perkins' seem expensive. Focus seem poor quality. B&Q is too far away.

Any online places for decent but not expensive tools?

Items such as hammer, saw, screwdriver set etc.

    ???

ebay, gsf, amazon are really good, small local independent tool places are usually the best though

its best to buy as you need it else you could buy stuff you will never use (obv all the above will come in handy)

    decent cordless drill (18v+)
Proper bolster/chisel and crowbar for bigger DIY stuff.
Dremel tool is good idea too

    Screwfix and Ebay.

Buy the best you can rather than buying cheap rubbish that's not as easy to use and lasts ten minutes.

    Machine mart?

Found them to be pretty cheap but not used them yet, so can't vouch for their service!

But you have them already - so another chainsaw. A man can NEVER have too many chainsaws.
