Seen an aftermarket set of alloys advertised in the local rag. Am I correct in thinking that they are also PCD of 100? Is there any reason why these shouldn't fit e.g. ET ?

    Cheers,
    Andy

Yes I think they are the same PCD if they are 4 stud. Offset is the only real thing you need to worry about.

The four stud versions of the VW have a 4x100 pcd which is the same as 4 stud VX, some Rover (some are 4x114.3 or 4x96), Honda, Renault and a few others

You can just get them placcy things for the center of the rim, I think they have Vauxall rims have a lower offset so you MAY have to use spacers.

Renault are bigger than VW hance the wobble at high speeds, you can cure this with rings though.

Any thing other than genuine wheels and the centre bore shouldn`t be a problem, most ar 60mm or more and use spigot rings to fit different hubs.
