I'd suggest investing in a powerfile and or die grinder.

I use mine for everything. So much more control than a normal grinder

If i was to build another car i would buy a powerfile. Much safer to use than an angle grinder and it can get into all the places a grinder cant.

    Do you have a compressor?
Air tools are cheaper to buy but more expensive to run as compressed air is comparatively expensive to produce .
Powerfile belts can be expensive and not last very long if you're not careful with them .
Carbide tools for die grinders aren't cheap and I've had burrs flick under my safety goggles into my eye once or twice .
One time needing several hospital visits

    36 or 80 grit discs
