Hi All, I’m in the process of pulling my engine out to refurbish the engine / bay and am now stuck trying to remove the drive shafts. All the bolts came out fine, and I have removed track arms and ball joints. As such drive shafts should come away from the flanges when I yank on the hubs however I am having no luck. I even pulled the shafts out the hubs from yanking on them but I can’t get them to release from the gearbox sides. Any tips?

I am replacing the drive shafts so if anyone has any tricks, even if it damages them, I am all ears.

    Any advice appreciated.

Got the same problem last time I removed the shafts, I used some wood and a hammer to tap on the sides so they would come loose.
