......... for the cheapo blue interface off ebay. Had it all working on my old laptop, but now can't find the ******* usb-serial virtual driver disc. Anyone got a copy?
I'm 90% sure that most of these just use either an FTDI FT232BM/BL or a Prolific 2303 chip within (which in turn interfaces with an ELM327 in a lot of them). If so then you could simply download boggo standard FTDI or Prolific drivers. If you're using Windows then look in Device Manager with the interface plugged in. Look into the properties for the device; find the tab that shows you some of the strings responded from the device. You might see mention of FTDI or Prolific there somewhere. If so then Google for Prolific 2303 or FTDI FT232 drivers depending on what you see.
