When you guys go into mainland europe do you let your insurance companies know and increase your car insurance. Mine covers me for third party... i'm thinking I should increase cover to fully comp

    what do you think????

I have comp Elephant cover on the A3 and thought it was more than 30 days? You don't have to tell them you've gone either so not sure how they can tell? I've already been abroad for at least 20 days this year....

Love driving abroad! Have managed France, Germany, Switzerland, Belgium and Italy so far this year.

Very true. With some insurers you only have TPO cover unless you get a green card, but with others the Euro cover is thrown in, usually with some limit on the number of days per trip.

Any idea what European cover Brentacre provide as standard on their policies? I'll have to give them a call or find my documents... :p
