    Though I do know how you feel I have stuff I bought for the 4mo 4 years ago
    And didn't have a clue if they were any good till a short while back
    Still have new stuff from vw if it's duff I'm screwed

    I only bought it around 3 months ago and just wanted to be sure that all was okay with it when I finally get to fire the car up, be late summer by the looks of things. Funnily enough when I mentioned that I thought they should have to honour their warranty if they haven't gone bust all went quiet .

    I've got to stop buying stuff from the UK.[:s]

    First Compomotive shut down taking my money with them.

    Now DTA is out of action although by the sounds of things he properly wrapped up affairs and the ECU I've got will be good for many years to come.

    Should I be worried about Race Technology next?

    It's on the website, so I can say I've agreed to take over DTA from Allan. [:D]

    It's not a 5 minute process, but we'll do all we can to make things as smooth as possible. The old phone number will forward to the new one for a while, the usual email address is still being monitored, and I'll take all that over soon. I'll be spending some time with Allan so he can take me through everything, and he will also be supporting me over the next few months, as I will have lots of questions for him.

    I'm really excited, and want to thank Allan for the opportunity.

    That is great news, the price of ecu's had jumped up by 200 after the news they were closing.
