dump valve

Hope your all ready for this cos it made me laugh. But i told him i would ask so here goes!!!!

My mates little brother has got a bora 1.9tdi se 90bhp and he wants a dump valve fitted any ideas where i can tell him to contact and can he fit it himself . Thanks

He went there but couldnt get in it was full of corsa's and saxo's with 12year olds leaning to one side as they drove them.

 

sounds about right if youre after a dump valve on a diesel lol

Dont you have to fit a vacuum unit to get the dump valve to work on a tdi lump? Bit too much work for a small compression turbo that they use.

 

where you gonna get a vacume from on a diesel? no throttle remmeber lol

 

my point exactly, i know a kid who did this on a astra tdi a few years ago, had to fit a little vacuum unit (all i remeber bout it) to get it too work and even then it sounded lame as, just because he had a turbo....

cant imagine why - all diesels already have a vacum pump to operate the servo.
