Engine Check Warning

    Hi,

    I currently have a 2002 mk4 tdi and an Engine Check! warning and there is the " coil Light flashes,

    I presume this is something to do with the starting of the engine as its a diesel, and was wondering if its a major problem or something i can sort out next week after 50 miles as i need the car this weekend?

    any help or advise would be great,

    Nowt to do with the preheat system.

    It indicates a fault has been logged within ecu.

    Get an ecu readout.
