My front engine mount needs replaced. Has anyone replaced one, how easy is it, as I've heard horror stories about jacking up the engine? Any help/advice appreciated.
Unless you have an engine lift you'll have to jack the engine. Undo top of engine mounting....undo bottom.....jack engine up on sump with a jack and large piece of wood.........remove mounting.........replace and do up the bottom bolts........lower engine........ tighten top. Job done. You may find it easier to remove the fan. Edited by: daveybwoy
