Hi, I've been looking for engine weights for a little while and nothing I've come across seems conclusive. I was wondering if anyone knew weights for a few of the common transplanted engines. For simplicity, and as I doubt there's a huge amount of variation, preferably knowing whether it's a bare weight or ready to bolt in and run : An 8v (Mk1/Mk2 GTI 8v for example) A KR/9A/ABF The good old 12v boat anchor And ideally, just to complete the picture: A 24v of some description A 1.8T And if anyone's feeling fancy, a TFSI I'm going to weigh a PB engine with a few minor ancillaries such as coolant outlets, as well as a VR (complete from sump to rocker minus any ancillaries) and an AUQ engine with and without ancillaries (bare, and the whole deal with mani's, turbo, intercooler, a handful of piping, etc) when I get the chance if anyone would be interested. Any information to save a job would be appreciated though as I'm sure a few people have already done this, so that'd be spot on. Thanks in advance
