Would ET55 porsche wheels(7in wide) fit with adapters under mk2 arches? I take it the adapter will move the wheels out to about ET35, or am i taking cod crap? ET70 is a bit too far fetched on 8in wide?? no? cheers
cheers mate, What about 16" ET70 9inch wide rims with adapters on the back. Will this high offset have problems clearing the shocks(coilovers)?? ta Edited by: sife1
What about the handling, it'll be fine on the fronts, but on the back (if they clear the shocks) will 9in ET70 make the back end sturdier or just all over the place?? excuse all the Q's but just seeing if it's worthwhile going for the rims.
point 1. porsche stud pattern is 5x130 so porsch wheels wont fit point 2. your best bet is to get a set of 4 x 100/108 multifit and fir the spacetkit that would normally be used for pug to get your et15
Andy947 are your wheels brock b1's or the powertech's 8x15?? If powertech, what offset are they? i know you've choped the front arches, but have you also done this on the rear? There well nice wheels and suit your car nicely! with regard to the ET70, it was just some nice different, not design 90's, porche wheels that were going cheap. was thinking maybe they could fit
