Heh. Reminds me of when my school bus ran into the back of my old mans car on the way into school (a suitably long time ago). When my dad then later phoned the bus company to chase up some details he said he was calling about the collision, they replied with 'Which one?' Bus drivers.. meh. Good luck getting it sorted quickly - though it sounds like you've got a clear cut case in your favour for both incidents.
PMSL!! If it was a MK3 then fair enough you might think it was an act of god but not a lovely Jazzy blue mk4 surely!
What - A MK2 would have been protected by it's plastic arches - would have done more damage to the bus!
had a bus almost ram me off the road before as he came hurtling through a give way speed trap thing the wrong way. Popped a tyre and bent a wheel. He didnt stop.
From personal experience a lot of bus companies don't pay out on insurance and sometimes the law seems to be on there side. We was told they are big enough we should give way to them.
i recks he's a member of this forum!!! he's seen one of your post jetta, and seen the trike kid, and thought "i can do that!!!"
As soon as I saw him, I stopped, where else was I meant to go, as he was originally on my side of the road. So what you are saying that when you are driving a car, anything bigger than you always has the right of way, and they will never be blamed, I don't think so.
why they run great big empty f8cking buses into little roads is beyound me. we have stagecocks who use double decker buses in oxfordshire. comes into small village does his drop off, then has to do a blind reverse into a cul de sac to turn round...just when i am coming home!! lucky i know what he is doing...
The Golf's now in the bodyshop for the next week or so, the insurance company gave me a nice new Jetta 2.0 Tdi Sport DSG to run about in. My insurance company is of the opinion he is 100% to blame, although the bus company are still refusing to accept blame, thus their legal recovery team are now at them.
