Sorry if posted in wrong place.

If anyone is interested, Im selling a Tokai 'Love Rock' Les Paul which is better than any Gibson Ive ever played. Its Sunburst with a Bigsby Trem. Only 2 months old and cost over 400 and Im after 220 ono for her to get rid. I bought on a whim and after one rehearsal, realised I hate humbuckers as does my AC30. Back to the tele it is.

Call if interested 07756651158. Located on the Wirral.

Odd...my old man gigged a '73 Les Paul through an AC30 for years.... Maybe they just don't make 'em like they used to.

Nicest guitars i've played are 3 of my mates.

3 x '59 Les Paul Custom's (Print your own money selling these)

    They sound totally amazing!!

As for AC30's - i just despise the sound of the things! URGH!

Never been a real fan of Les Pauls, we used to be the local Gibson dealers where I worked as a kid, got all the expensive toys in as we could just for the fun of it, plus some oldies that punters used to bring in for setups. Somehow they never seemed as nice in almost every way as a 335, I always prefered the Epiphone LPs as they felt like they could take more of a pounding. Nice oldies are waaaay out of my league these days, have to sell the house first; check ebay for a giggle.

Old vox stuff is great, I have a '62 AC50 with a matching 15" Celestion, alright it is nowhere near as versatile as my pa's Boogie but its all I ever needed. I have a small Fender champ or summat, transistor based thing, that I use more often though.

I was up Denmark St in London today - loads of music shops there. I was buying a present for my cousin, who's a pro drummer.

Anyway, getting to the point, there's a 56 Les Paul for sale in Andy's Guitars. Very original, but not mint by any means. Well played. FORTY Grand!!

My old man's still got his 73 LP Cherry Sunburst... worth about 3 grand I'm told.

Blimey! I wish my Les Paul was that old, mines a 'studio' model which I guess is an 80's/90's one - anyone know how you can find the age out from the serial numbers?

My dad has an original Gibson 330TD which I think is a '59 or '60, plays amazingly but he rarely lets me near it! :p

Nice, basically an old school ES335. They sound fantastic, so i assume that sounds even better! Personally i think my guitar is where its at though...Dean Razorback, TwoTone. Waited a year for it to be built mind, plays and sounds like a demon [:D]
