Fault?? On A 16v Mk3 Gti

    Hi i just put my friends OBD reader onto my 16 valve mk3 gtii (p reg) and it showed the following:

    INTAKE MANIFOLD PRESSURE SENSOR (G71) SPORADIC - NO SIGNAL


    Does something need replacing if so where is it please and what??

    G71 is the MAP sensor - I would check the vac pipe leading to the ECU.
