in fact, f**kit, just get anything by Booker T and the MGs, Aretha Franklin, James Brown, Marvin Gaye, Ray Charles and Stevie Wonder the list goes on..

 

also, if you havent got it already, download Brainfreeze by DJ shadow, then go looking for the tracks played on that. Plenty of nice stuff (ie Marlena Shaw - California Soul)

there is so much good stuff played on that, and its still great to listen to in its own right. Shame Product Placement didnt hit the mark that well....
