Hows it going? can anyone help me? Ive bought a set of Blaupunkt Speakers for the door of my mk2 GTI... and the conections arent the same...Do i need to cut and solder to the connections or is there an adaptor i can buy?? what would you reccommend? Please help, i havent a clue about car audio... Cheers d.
id chop the wires and crimp on new spade terminals, unless you plan on ever restering the car to 100% original ...in that case i would make up a small adaptor lead
cheers, there are four terminals on the speaker. theres a red and a yellow wire. does it matter colour wire i crimp to? and which set of terminals i wire to? sorry havent a clue about electrics cheers
yes you will nead to wire positive to positive and negitive to negitave, use the red crip ones as the others are to big, its the female spade terminals your after
