want to set up some vdo gauges to my new engine when it goes in this week. Funds are getting tight so i'd rather get the engine back in first. Is it much easier to fit the gauges at the same time as the engine or can it be done anytime? (my queries are always so long!!!!)

easier to do it afterwards. I fitted a brand new oil pressure sender to the oil filter bracket then f**ked it by knocking it whilst installing the donk (pillock!)

Run a few wires through the grommets in the bulkhead while it out and you have plenty of room to manouver.
