i would leave as is or deplinth it, that looks smooooth. only prob is a assume is an electric boot opener is needed. dead technical explanation there. shouldn't be to difficult to get a motor to open the boot. oh and btw nice car, side on pic looks the nuts but not with the flush tail. cheers
www.tintacar.co.uk for the windows bit pricy but they gave me a car to drive for the 3 hours it took them. they do ferrari's and stuff like that so there very proffessional hehe at least i know that if i want to sell my wheels i have a buyer....lol
as explained above 'the number plate plinth with the bootlock has to be removed and a plate welded over....lock can then be either with the number plate light or you could just use a solenoid functional from the inside of the car.' Edited by: CabrioRags
i like the de wipered look but it would be annoying not being able to see out the windows bad enough at night with the tint, that an rain water.... whats an SWG spoiler?
Theres is a nice MkII on ebay at the mo with a flush tailgate! I was thinking it might be different to put all new MkIV badges on it..... think it would look good! But I would only do it because the boot is already like, I would never do it to a mint MkII like yours NFK!
cheers for the input everyone! sometimes you need reminding what you have already! that phat vr6....is um phat! like the spoiler!
try removing the lock from the plinth, and de badging the rear panel on photoshop. that should clean things up a little.
Gotta say, de-wipered, delocked plinth, and de-badged rear panel with smoothed seams is my personal favourite
yeah that looks the dogs, well when i get the rear dent sorted i might do that. can you buy delocked plinths
Hmm... I'd say keep it fairly standard, perhaps de-lock it but that's it. That said, I'm a stickler for 'standard' cars. I like Andy947's though - very smooth!
