Just went out to go to work...

Immobiliser deactivated with the keyfob, keys in... Quietly trying to turn over.

Tried again - nothing. Lights flicking on and off, doors locking / unlocking, indicators going... No start though.

Disconnected battery for a few minutes to reset things, just in case...

Windows opening slightly more slowly than usual, blah blah.

Mate's on his way over, see if a jump start will do it (on one hand does seem like it) but I think it's immobiliser.

Any ideas? Will I get to work? [:s]

if there's power, yet it's not even trying to turn over it could either be fault with immobiliser or jammed starter motor

Hmm, does seem to be a slight whirr in which case starter motor is a possibility. [:s]

Immobiliser has played up before though. [:s]

    I dunno. [xx(]

Can lock this up - posted it in the wrong section for a speedy reply but it ain't gonna' happen.

Cheers anyway, better go sort out a lift.

Sounds more like the battery is flat.

Windows moving slowly, immobiliser clicks when turning the key- sounds exactly like flat battery.
