    I have a 1983 Mk1

    Standard engine.

I feel I should treat her to a new injector set. Cold starting is awful, so I'll look at what the 5th injector is doing separately, but where is the best place/price to get these from, and could someone post-up the correct part numbers as well!

    Thanks!

you can get mercedes brass injectors from ebay, these fit coarse thread fuel lines. pretty sure thats what you'll have on yours but if not you can just change the fuel lines over as well if need be. pretty sure they're coarse, fine thread didnt come in till mid 80s iirc

    Thanks John - so part number 0437 502 047 ?

I probably won't source them from Poland, but they do have good feedback!

I shall take my fifth injector out and see if anything is still legible.

if its a tintop gti then they have the coarse thread injectors, direct swap on those. later mk1 cabrio and scirocco plus mk2 use fine thread injectors so they wont work unless you fit the early fuel liens as well. note if the car has later setup with air shrouded injectors then you'll either have to swap the top hats to the brass injectors, or block the nipple on the rear of the head to prevent an air leak
