I have had a whining from the front end of my MK2 gti for a while, It sounded like the nearside so I changed the driveshaft and the wheel bearing. The wheel bearing was definitely gone. The noise has remained. I have had a look at the os bearing and it seems fine, beginning to get on my nerves now ! Any ideas ? Could it be a rear bearing, its definitely speed related ,as in, no noise until about 30mph and then the noise increases with speed.help would be much appreciated Thanks Len
