Hi all, Does anyone know what the physical difference between a G60 and a standard Gti front panel is? 191805591 mk2 front panel 191805591A G60 front panel I'm doing a mk2 20vt transplant at the moment. I want to run a rallye intercooler and also keep the 4 light grille. Thanks, Neil
yip it twice the price what ever the diffrence is i dont know but the intercooler suports are separate from the front panel and are bolted on i am sure you could make them fit the standard front panel
Yeah twice the price is right As for seperate mountings, is it any of these parts? I thought the rallye intercooler just sat onto the cross member with the two little tabs? Is it held in place by the rad mounts?
ye that what i was on about the two tabs that sit on the cross member i could be wrong but i think i all so bolted to the radiator as well at the top
If it's secured to the rad at the top, which in turn is secured to the front panel the rallye ic should directly fit the standard front panel then? Just want to make sure before I fork out over 400 for the ic

Yeah that's correct. On the parts diagram the bolts 5 and 6 go through the intercooler into the the rad. I don't know the difference on the front panel, The non G60 one maybe missing a hole for the fixing of the larger G60 rad (Can't really remember) I've fitted one to a GTI panel with no problems.
was a post on edition showing the difference. looked to have some extra metal welded in on the front or something
