Bit of a weird one my fuel pump fuse keeps blowing but only when the accelerator is to the floor. It can be while the ignition is on and it’s priming or when engine is running

Both pumps prime on ignition both work lift pump is new

the car in question is a 91 mk2 1.3 NZ engine fuel injected

Is the pedal getting stuck on a loose bit of wiring?

ive taken the lower dash out and no wiring is near the pedal

It has an o2 sensor on the same fuse which I’ve unplugged and makes no difference
