Hi, I have a 1990 mk2 golf 16v with the smaller lift pump in the tank. The reason I say that is the only fuel tank seal I can find is the larger 10cm one, when I’m looking for the 6cm one. The part number I have is 4B0919133 and I can’t find it anywhere:- Main dealer - discontinued in 2020. Heritage - out of stock. EBay - has nothing (well I can’t find any). Werk34 - have them but won’t post to UK. has anybody any suggestions as to where I can find one and mine has literally turned to snot. Rob
Always found Heritage to be OK (if pricey occasionally) but trip themselves up on stock levels. Had a few things on order with them that either took an age to come back into stock or were just cancelled because they presumably eventually gave up waiting themselves. They're re-sellers at the end of the day, others are doing the same thing. Looking at what the have the only 1 that mentioned the mk2 is from 1990 so not sure. I have emailed to ask for the dimensions just to confirm. cheers
I managed to buy one while back, there was none about. Contemplated fitting a Mk3 Fuel tank as they are still available for those (bigger sender and seal). Some motorcycles have a similar design, Vespa GTS 300 rings a bell.
