Question as per the title really, I don't have a G60 throttle body to hand and need to know the diameter of the boost bypass valve, can anyone help?

I'll choose my words carefully Jon simply because I know you know what you're talking about :) but those dimensions seem huge, in my head I thought the primary was about 28mm and the secondary about 42mm and the bypass was about 28 too.. back to the drawing board for me then :)

The one I have hasn't got a primary/secondary set-up. Just a single butterfly. It looks std, but I'm no G60 expert.

Hi Jon, thanks, but thats not a G60 throttle body. The G60 throttle body is the same as a mk1 GTI, Mk2 16v etc throttle body with a primary and secondary valve but with the addition of a third valve underneath to dump boost pressure. :)

Mickey your right. 52 and 35mm ID's resp.
There is a single inlet as specified earlier which then splits internally into a primary/secondary butterfly.
Will have to use this for something now......

Feel free to hijack away Jon :)

Does the one you have NOT have the third butterfly underneath? In all respects it sounds like a G60...

All the numbers above are correct, I am 99.9% sure its a G60 TB
In summary, primary butterfly ID52mm, sec 35mm combined to a overall single 55mm port
    and bypass 40mm
