Just bought a Garmin I3 street pilot on ebay, been told that you can put European maps on using a card, the Garmin brochure lists the cards by country however there is no more info than that, tried searching the net and didnt find anything has anyone got one or any info on these European maps

Also the brochure says you can download speed camera locations is this done from the Garmin site?

Any other tips about the Street pilot would be great :)

Arrived this morning really pleased overall, only took it to work and back and to the garage so far but it worked really well, map is very clear and the voice prompts are well timed, wasnt expecting much for the price but its really surprised me even took a few deliberate detours off the route and it quickly recalculated a new route :p Going up to Edinburgh next month for the weekend so I'll give it a good test then, my girlfriend will be delighted as there'll be no more arguing about her unique approach to map reading,

the i3 is a good little gadget for the money. Due to the
simplicty of the design, it doesn't matter that it's not got a touch
screen. When you're loading the csv files on, use the ones that
have separate csvs for each speed limit. You'll want to copy all
the csvs into a single folder on your computer before you run the
garmin POI software (download it from garmin's website). So
you'll end up with 24 csv files (8 for Gatso's, 7 for mobile speed
cameras, 6 for SPECS cameras, and single csvs for the temporary,
redlight, and continental cameras). I also copied the custom bmp
icons to the same folder, as well as the overlay files. Each time
you upload new POI's it deletes the old ones, so you have to copy
everything into a single folder before running the POI utility.
