Gearbox Code, where is it stamped??

pics showing would be even handier!!

Not got a pic but if you look at the underside of the bell housing
there is a flat bit near the very bottom that should have the code
stamped on it. Its right near the bottom on a level with the bottom of
the sump.

 

Yellow square is the area the code and mfg date will be found.
