Gearbox oil (mtl?)

Gunna change the oil in the box (never been changed and its on 107k now) been told i wanna go 4 mtl?

Where is the best place to get this? also is mtl the make or the type of oil? which 1 do i go 4?

Redline is the name of the company, MTL is the name of the product.......you can get from the redline website or places like demon tweeks

 

think its best to use MTL on rod change boxes, and MT90 on cable change boxes. and very bad to use the opposite on the opposite, TSC is the expert.

 

Right so i need some MTL then how much of it do i need for a mk2 box?

also is it real thin stuff (being synthtic)? as will this make it pi*s out of seals?

It has not leaks at the moment

 

it shouldnt leak...2 quarts will do

 

Being synthtic doesn't have any bearing on the viscosity. I think redline is 75w/80

 

It says on the read line there are two viscositys which one do i go for?
