i changed a g-box on my golf mark3 2.0 8v gti, but on replacement i found that the driveshaft flanges are of a different size!!!! wot do i do??? can i change the flanges over???
Just change them over. There is a circlip under the black plastic cap in the centre of the cap. Take this out and thw cup will come off. May be a good idea to change the diff seals while you are there and also fit new circlip cover caps.
