car died out.it starts but it won't gear in to gear.checked the cable but its all fine.it will go in to gear while the egnine is off but not when started,the release lever is not traveliing as it should,took the box out and the release lever travels fine.seems like the mechanism is hitting the clutch plate.what could be wrong
Check the clutch release bearing in the end of the gearbox if you're sure the cable is adjusted properly.
