Hi I'm new to the site I am looking at getting a Golf 1.8T Gti, Is there anything I should look out for e.g if 2000 models have any prolems that others don't or any thing like that, Thanks for the help and the site looks great. Jon
welcome to forum jon Different people expereince different probs, but some of the common mk4 probs are: Arb links, window regulators, water pumps, mc's, coil packs, MAFs.
My ARB links are still squeeking! Need replacing I think. And I reckon I've a coil pack on the way too. They're still the old type though... previous owner never took it back for a free replacement Fordo!
