Sorry if this has already been posted but the December issue of Classic & Sportscar mag has a feature on the Golf Gti. The article has write ups on Mk1 1.6 and 1.8, Mk2 16v, Mk3 16v, Mk4 1.8T and the Mk5. I haven't read it properly yet so not sure what the journalism or facts are like. Just thought I'd mention it
